Double acting work supports with long approach stroke.
The double-acting and long-stroke support cylinders arise from the need to reach locking or stiffening points in parts covered by the piece or in any case far from the clamping point and difficult to reach, they are particularly suitable for contact complex and bulky pieces such as gearboxes, axles etc.
The cylinder strokes are divided into 2 phases: an extension stroke of the support pin until reaching the working stroke and the true working stroke / adjustment of the pin in the area of contact to the workpiece. In practice, the total stroke of the pin includes a section bound to the advance piston (which cannot be used for contact with the piece) and a final stroke corresponding to the real working stroke of the cylinder: in this final stroke the force transmitted from the cylinder to the piece it is a determined force corresponding to the contact force of a common standard anti-vibration cylinder
These cylinders can also be made in reduced dimensions with 16 mm pin: special cylinders of reduced dimensions, with 50 mm strokes and support up to 6 kN at 350 bar are already available on request.

The double-acting and long-stroke support cylinders in question are equipped with connections for the ventilation and / or pneumatic pressurization fittings in low pressure, in the impossibility of protecting the cylinders with pneumatic pressurization, follow the common recommendations for installing the cylinders a simple effect, taking particular care to protect the venting ports from the contamination of chips and / or liquids.
In the impossibility of using pneumatic pressurization, DO NOT remove the protective sintered filters if not for encrease the protection.
