Hydraulic work supports 120 bar
Starting from a higher operating pressure, when using 70 bar cylinders, its often forced to reduce the pressure by expensive measures. The alternative would be, starting from a low operating pressure, to increase it also by expensive measures. It is practically impossible to create reliable circuits with more than one hydraulic valve is installed.
These circuits become limiting. And a malfunction of the pressure reducing valve can compromise all the downstream cylinders due to the too high pressure of the main branch.
However, when the available pressure does not exceed 120 bar, it is in fact difficult to use the cylinders of the high pressure ranges and in these cases pressure intensifiers must be used to multiply the line pressure 2x or 3x and allow the cylinders to reach the required performance.
HYDROBLOCK makes available a new range of worksupport cylinders capable of operating at their best in their range between 70 bar and 120 bar, in that range in which a large part of equipment is made and where, until now, valves included, multipliers and intensifiers to use cylinders mostly unsuitable and not developed for this purpose.
With the new 120bar work supports you can design equipment without having
to install intensifiers or pressure reducing valves.
We simplify the hydraulic cyrcuit and the fixture by giving you an optimal range of use!
Comparative diagram with the performance of work supports as a function of the operating pressure
Their construction will no longer use pressure reducers multipliers, saving on the purchase of installation and installation: the drilling of plates and structures will be reduced and with them the installation costs and the ease of setting a point and reliability.
Contrary to 70bar devices, circuits with working pressures of 120 bar allow you to install 2 or even 3 sequence valves on the same branch, allowing you to use non-bulky locking cylinders and to make reliable locks on stiffening cylinders.
If a workpiece is clamped on the work support, the supporting force F must be at least twice as high as the clamping force generated by the clamping cylinder. We generally recommend operating work supports with high pressures in order to ensure efficient supporting capacity.
A – Hydraulic port
B – Pneumatic port
C– Pneumatic catch sensor controls the workpiece contact
D – Special wiper made in polyurethane (upon request in FKM)
E – METAL WIPER integrated into the cylinder protects the internal wiper against sparkler chips and aggressive cooling lubricants. An efficient function of the wiper lip ensures perfect operation of the cylinder over time. Special wiper made in polyurethane (upon request in FKM).
